Woody Gap School is located in Suches, Georgia, which is in the historic Appalachian Mountains. Our school is the smallest public school in Georgia with grades kindergarten through twelve. Although our school is small, it still offers a wide range of services for students, as well as for the community. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. Vocational and college preparatory diplomas are offered. Woody Gap School and our larger sister schools in neighboring Blairsville, Georgia, make up the Union County School System.
