Woody Gap Homecoming
Homecoming is
a unique experience at Woody Gap School. In addition to the men and women’s
alumni basketball games, each grade level elects a representative couple
to be on the homecoming court. The homecoming queen is then selected from
the high school representatives.
Niyelo
Woody Gap School recently began participating in an Adventure Based Program for students called Niyelo, ("It's Up To You"). The purpose of this program is to develop self-esteem, leadership abilities, communication and decision making skills, and to encourage more responsible patterns of behavior. Students acquire these skills through participation in adventure based games and activities.
