Union County School System, in its enrollment procedures, requirements and process does not and will not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, or immigration status.

** Below is a list of 6 required documentations for new enrollment** 

It is very important to have a withdrawal form, report card/transcripts, and any records for Special Programs (i.e. IEP, 504 Plans, Gifted...) with you in order to appropriately schedule your student for classes.

1.  Birth Certificate 

2.  Social Security Card 

3.  Georgia Immunization Certificate (DPH Form 3231) 

4.  Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (DPH Form 3300)  (Completed by the health department or a physician)

5. Two Proof of Residencies documents with physical address and name (Examples include: rental agreement, utility Bill, homeowner’s or renter’s insurance bill, property tax notice, mortgage payment document,  etc) 

6.  Completed information packet found at below (print and fill out).

Failure to supply all the required documents will delay the registration.

Non-Resident Application & Tuition Waiver

The Union County School System shall accept students for enrollment who reside in the state of Georgia, but outside the boundaries of Union County on a tuition basis and upon meeting the requirements of and compliance with policies JBCB and JBCB-R(1). The Union County School System does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or disability in determining the admission of a nonresident student.

If you wish to apply for non-resident student status, contact the Union County School System Central Office at 706-745-2322.  This process needs to be started early enough for the school to request and receive records from your student’s previous school and for the principal to review the records and make a decision. Tuition for out-of-county students must be paid in the amount of $1,000, by July 1st (for semester 1) and/ or $1,000 by December 1st (for semester 2), or paid in full for the entire school year in the amount of $2,000.
