Georgia replaced Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in 2012. CCRPI is a comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform for all educational stakeholders that will promote college and career readiness for all Georgia public school students. Georgia Milestones Assessment System
The Georgia Milestones Assessment System is designed to provide information about how well students are mastering the state-adopted content standards in the core content areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Importantly, Georgia Milestones is designed to provide students with critical information about their own achievement and their readiness for their next level of learning – be it the next grade, the next course, or endeavor (college or career). (Student Growth Percentiles)
The Georgia Student Growth Model (GSGM) is designed to provide students, parents, educators, and the public with important information on student progress. Student growth percentiles (SGPs) describe the amount of growth a student has demonstrated compared to other students across GA with the same achievement history. All students, regardless of their achievement level, have the opportunity to demonstrate all levels of growth. More information and resources are available here.
